At High Tide

So I thought I’d take a walk out at high tide. I’ve taken so many shots from the comfort of dry land but on this occasion I wanted to experience the high tide from the water. I was pretty sure that I would be able to wade out through the water along the submerged path to the Lightship and unsurprisingly there was no one else out there, until I bumped in to Phil holding on to his boat.

Is there anywhere else that you could head out for a quiet stroll, knee deep in water and bump in to a friend, have a perfectly ordinary conversation before heading your own separate ways?

It could only happen in Tollesbury!
