Farewell to Fair Chance
I first spotted the Fair Chance back in 2017, full of character, life written all over the shabby wooden hull, this colourful little boat was just perfect for a photographer. Over the past 4 and a half years, I’ve photographed her on numerous occasions but I was so concerned back in August ‘21 that she was looking more than just a bit tired and was in need of something far more substantial than a bit of TLC.
So I was excited to see that she’d moved around to the jetty at the boat yard, would she be renovated, repainted, brought back from the brink? Sadly the news filtered out through the village grapevine that it was the last voyage for the Fair Chance. So farewell little boat and thanks for bringing a smile to my face over the past few short years.
