Day 10

Thursday 30th June 2016

In to double figures today and definitely full of enthusiasm. I pass a large, old house on the outskirts of Ulting each day and they have a beautiful peach coloured rose against the wall of a traditional Essex weatherboarded barn. It was overcast this morning, a bit of rain, perfect for plant photos. So I took my film camera loaded with 400H to shoot it. I hope it comes out as I didn't take any other pictures today.

I noticed an old, painted Georgian house in Heybridge this morning. It's painted a very dark green, with a bright red front door; it's definitely on the shot list.

I find it extraordinary how much we pass by in life without noticing. It's one of the aspects of the 365 which I enjoy the most. You're always on the lookout for the next picture, which makes me feel much more connected with my environment.
