The frist Christmas lights in Maldon
Saturday 19th November
A day of jobs around Tollesbury today, followed by trips to Tiptree and Maldon to find pudding basins; Doff's making Christmas puddings this weekend. We headed back in to Maldon this evening to Il Camino, a great Italian restaurant; it was up to its usual high standard. We both still find it a little odd that we can just go out in the evening without having to make carer arrangements for Jack. My dad was discharged from hospital today and he sounds so much better than he has for a while.
The weather has turned much colder and this evening the first autumn storm blew in. 80mph gusts on the south coats but we rarely get the full force of those winds out on the east cost.
