Day 176

Chelmer Valley near Ulting

Tuesday 13th December

Grey and misty on the way in to Chelmsford this morning but as the sun started to rise, the light was beautiful. A silky golden glow, through the cool mist and seen through the trees in the Chelmer valley it was magical. Wonderful start to the day and very calming with all that is going on right now. I found out that today is the earliest sunset, so the evenings will be getting lighter from now on. I didn't realise that was even possible given that we are a week away from the shortest day. It's all to do with the tilt of the earth and the mornings will continue getting darker well in to January.
