Day 202

Eclectic mix of chairs at The Loft, Tollesbury

Eclectic mix of chairs at The Loft, Tollesbury

Sunday 8th January 2017

A few small jobs this morning around the garden and then having dropped a friends car off, borrowed for yesterday's trip to Stan, we walked down to the hard. The sun filtered through light cloud, lovely light for photography and it was so mild for January. My cousin Carol in Canada commented on one of my autumn pictures today, they have 3.5 feet of snow right now. How odd is it that given we are further north, 52 degrees north for us and around 47 degrees for Meaford, Ontario and yet we have such mild weather.

We had lunch at the Loft, 'Tea by the Sea', and Dave had his usual Vinyl Sunday with an eclectic mix of Cambodian, French and 60's records playing whilst we ate Sausage & Bacon butties. Brilliant place, everyone should try it!

I got a whole bunch of paperwork done this afternoon and then watched Sherlock this evening. Pretty good day all round.
