Day 238
Salt marshes, Tollesbury
Monday 13th February 2017
We finally saw the sun today and what a difference it makes. But make no mistake winter is still with us. We walked out around the sea wall at sunset, the mist rolled in and the breeze had sharp teeth; the wild had returned. We were the only people out and it felt as though we were peering into the wilderness. Waders foraging in the salt marshes and huge skeins of geese flying to their evening roosts. We are part of this place now.
