Day 279
Rutland Water
Sunday 26th March 2017
Well the clocks went forward last night so we are now in British Summertime and the light evenings start now! My energy levels rise just thinking about all that extra daylight.
Today is Mother's Day so I visited Mum and Dad. It was a nice afternoon and they are both doing ok at the moment. We headed out for lunch to a restaurant we've been to a number of times. It was a beautiful sunny day and in the sheltered courtyard outside the restaurant, it was easy to imagine summer being just around the corner.
On my way home I stopped off at Rutland Water, to shoot the last light of the day across the water. 7:30pm and the sun had just set. Wonderful. I had light in the sky until around 8pm and then a faint glimmer in my rear view mirror until around 8:30pm.
