Near Tiptree
Saturday 29th April 2017
Maldon for Doff to have a Cappuccino in her favourite coffee shop and then off to the garden centre to buy some more plants. On the way home we stopped off just outside Tiptree to see the Bluebells and what a spectacle. I was worried that they would have gone over already, but the cold weather seems to have kept them at their peak for longer than usual.
This is such an English scene, with the blue/purple haze carpeting the woodland floor below fresh green Beech canopy and it was lovely for us to visit on Doff's return from Aus. I don't think the contrast between the two countries gets much bigger.
