Day 339
Woodrolfe Hard, Tollesbury
Thursday 25th May 2017
I had a day in Tollesbury today, primarily to pick up my new glasses from Maldon but a day in Tollesbury is always a good day and it gave me the opportunity to cut the grass this evening ready for bin collection tomorrow. As a consequence, the sun was setting before I got to my picture for the day and it was off to the hard again. As I pulled up I noticed a series of large puddles reflecting the last colour of the sunset and I knew I had my picture. I love that there's almost nothing in focus here, it's all about the impression of sunset at the hard. A hint of water, a hint of boats, all washed in a beautiful warm glow.
