Day 51
Wednesday 10th August 2016
I visited Cudmore Grove at East Mersea this evening with Tollesbury Photographic Group. It's a great location with low sandy cliffs, sea defences, old world war 2 pill boxes and a headland with an eye catching copse of trees. Unfortunately it was not the greatest light, which I should have guessed that given that it faces South East and we were visiting at sunset. I have my fingers crossed that Portra 400 will come up trumps. It's not a film I'm used to so I'll have to wait for the scans to return.
I used my big Pentax 67ii for the shots. I just love the way the pictures have such shallow depth of field, concentrating the eye on just the main subject.
