Day 55
Sunday 14th August 2016
Laura and the kids are away to Hornchurch for a family gathering on her Dad's side today. It's very quiet without them at home and we both feel a little low knowing that they will soon be heading off back to Australia; it feels like a very great distance at times.
In the evening Doff and I had a walk out to the lightship, such a beautiful evening. It's a long time since we last got out on the sea wall.
