Day 58

Wednesday 17th August 2016

Another dry and sunny day. We've had virtually no rainfall for about 5 weeks now which, even for the driest corner of England, is a long period for gardens and the countryside to suffer. On the upside, we have had a great summer this year and it makes a difference before heading in to Autumn.

Home as early as I could for the last evening with Laura, Tom and Scarlett. We can't believe that the time has disappeared so quickly and we're really not looking forward to tomorrow.

I grabbed a picture of the old Osbourne/Hedingham bus garage which has recently closed; definitely end of an era.
