I headed northwards to visit my parents today. They're doing well at the moment and it was good to catch-up even briefly. It was a long day of driving, which wasn't great for my back which is feeling pretty tender at the moment.
On the way up I stopped at Langham. It's a small Rutland village and historic home to the Ruddles brewery which unfortunately was closed when a larger brewer bought the company and transferred brewing to their main plant. Sad to lose such heritage but I'm sure a dozen micro-breweries have sprung up in it's place.
