Our Garden

Day 75 - Saturday 3rd September

Beautiful morning, warm and sunny. Unfortunately it didn't stay that way, with a storm taking hours to pass through. We haven't had stormy weather for around 2 months and it seems very odd, unsettling even.

This morning the last of our Japanese Anemones were backlit by the sun whilst being spot lit by sunlight reflected off our windows.  Such a great lighting effect, one which is often used for studio portraits of people.

We had a lovely afternoon with Dorothy's cousins who were celebrating their Golden Wedding Anniversary. It was so good to catch-up with the wider Turner family. It's just a shame that Jack couldn't be with us; he would have been in his element.
