Day 163
Frosty view to Mersea Island
Wednesday 30th November
Last night was very cold, well below zero and we woke to a heavy frost. We don't get so much frost out on the coast but Tollesbury was coated in white. I walked down towards the sea wall and the first real view out across the fields, down to the salt marshes and across to Mersea Island is such a favourite. Jack loved it here too and often came down on his off road mobility scooter.
I've photographed this view many times but none has been quite as beautiful as this morning. I carried on down to the sea wall and spent some time soaking up the atmosphere and taking photos. I met many locals out walking dogs, jogging or just out for a morning walk. Everyone was so happy today, quite amazing how we react to something so simple.
