Friday 30th December

We were planning to head up to London, but neither of us had the heart for it today. We spent the morning at home and I published the TPG newsletter, it started me thinking about what else I need to do for the January to April meetings. I need to be better prepared than last year when I was only working one month ahead.

We spent the afternoon in Chelmsford, primarily to eat a Byron; the burgers really are pretty special. We trawled around the shops looking at the sales and came away with socks, it has to be said that they are pretty funky socks.

Glad to be at home this the evening, it was a chilly one. We sat in the Orangery watching some TV programmes on iPlayer in front of the fire.
