Day 200
Frosty morning in the Chelmer Valley
Friday 6th January 2017
The car was really frozen up again this morning and it needed about 10 minutes with the engine running to de-ice it. Oddly the frost seemed to reduce the further away from the coast I travelled; may be we've hit a point in the winter where the sea is not moderating our temperature anymore. Fortunately I spotted a really extensive field margin in the Chelmer Valley, covered in teasels and other weeds, that had been hit heavily by the frost. It looked pretty magical in the weak sunshine.
