Day 213
Mill Beach, Heybridge
Thursday 19th January 2017
Beautiful morning again today and I'm pretty sure the light is already getting stronger. Maybe winter is showing a few signs of retreat even during this cold snap.
I stopped at Mill Beach for sunrise this morning. It went from soft subtle colours to full on drama as the sun rose. I was here alone with the sea birds and waders, low tide exposing the mirror like mud of the Blackwater river bed. Quiet, chilly and still; definitely one of those occasions when you're total engrossed in the moment.
