Day 220
County Hall, Chelmsford
Thursday 26th January 2017
The architecture of County Hall is quite varied with buildings ranging from the 1930s through to the 1980s, traditional stone to more modern steel and glass. The main atrium is a cathedral like space, with a soaring roof on thin steel columns. I love the regular patterns, the geodesic lattice used to support the roof, form and function meeting.
