Day 221
Chelmsford
Friday 27th January 2017
I left the office tonight in the dark with little inspiration, I had no idea what I would photograph. So I went in search of light but I didn't feel like heading to the bright lights of the high street.
The multi-storey car park next to County Hall is a modernist, concrete structure; strong but bleak architecture. Looking up, I can hear the sounds of cars probably carrying people home and then some laughter. How intriguing our brains find it to hear but not to see, when one sense is dulled and the mind has to fill in the gaps, what story is unfolding up there in the most unlikely of places?
