Day 242
Near Langford
Friday 17th February 2017
My shot today is part of my journey through the Chelmer valley which I've passed daily without really appreciating it. As part of this project, I've been trying to appraise my surroundings more and I saw this as shot a few months ago. I love that it's a dark place, not lit with the bright lights of the town or city, that it's place between, a place of options, a place to communicate. Why would there be a telephone box or a bus stop here and what stories have unfolded on this spot over the years? For now it's just a brief, uncertain, glimpse in to the shadows, the stories kept safe.
