I've been busy over the past couple of weeks preparing for tonight's Tollesbury Photographic Group and what a night. I was contacted earlier this year by a Tollesbury resident, Charlotte Johnston, who has a love of vintage clothing and in particular the 1940s. I did some research on photographic portrait styles, lighting and poses to understand how we could pull off a vintage feel. It needed to be dark and moody, a lot of contrast in the lighting and some strong poses. I didn't need to worry about the poses, Charlotte was well practiced which made our job far easier. So much fun.

Home and shattered after a great night. Developed a couple of pictures to show Charlotte what we'd created between us and to get the discussion started on the TPG Facebook page. Then to bed, tired but pretty satisfied that the night had gone well.
