Day 347
Chelmer Valley near Ulting
Friday 2nd June 2017
Huge thunderstorms this afternoon in Chelmsford, the roads turned to rivers and the pavements deserted. Tollesbury had far less rain, as usual, but we did get some which is a bonus for the garden. On my way home through the Chelmer Valley I took advantage of the soft light, filtered through the clouds to shoot some of the wild roses in the hedgerows. The valley is truly beautiful at this time of year.
