Day 354

Woodrolfe Hard, Tollesbury

Woodrolfe Hard, Tollesbury

Friday 9th June 2017

I woke to find that Teresa May's gamble over calling a snap election has back fired badly and far from having a stronger hand in the Brexit negotiations, she will now lead a weakened government in to the most important talks in recent UK history. Worrying times but lets hope this means more cooperation across all political parties.

The Tollesbury Photographic Group photowalk and open night at Woodrolfe Hard is on my mind at the moment. I could take photos every day at the Hard and not exhaust it's potential but I'm getting worried that other people may not find it so inspirational. The photos don't come as easily as a trip to Mersea Island, you have to see differently and really know how to dig the photos out. It will be interesting to see who enjoys the evening and who struggles. So this evening I headed down to the hard to take a bunch of photos in around 1/2 hour. I actually took longer than that, but in my defence it was because I just couldn't stop taking photos!

So here's my favourite from this evening. So much character and very definitely Tollesbury.
