Day 364
Sunset over the Blackwater
Monday 19th June 2017
Back to the bucket list tonight. I've attempted to capture the sun setting over the Blackwater near Rolls Farm a couple of times without any luck. I got some great shots on both occasions but I returned tonight and luck was on my side. I arrived around 8:30pm and I was alone on the sea wall again, just me, the waders and the sea birds; this spot seems to be particularly quiet and it's somewhere I've come to greatly enjoy.
I was looking for a different shot to my previous visits and for starters the tide was right in this time around; that always transforms the landscape. I was also looking for something a little more abstract, just an impression, the feeling of summer evenings by the water, quiet, gentle, relaxed.
