Day 82
St. Michael's Mount from our cottage garden
Saturday 10th September
Epic 9 hour road trip, to cover the 360 miles between just about the furthest easterly and westerly points in England. After navigating the M25, we took the scenic route A303 and A30 though the West Countryhitting traffic jams in just about every county. Despite the traffic it was lovely to see Wiltshire and Somerset looking so green and lush; very different to the drought we've been experiencing at home where the hedgerows are looking tired.
We arrived in Marazion just before the sun set over St Michael's Mount. This is such a special place, a place full of positive energy, a healing place and it's wonderful to be back. In many ways it feels like coming home.
We headed in to the village for dinner and ended up in the Cutty Sark pub. Decent food with Roskilly's ice cream for desert.
