Day 92
Chelmer Valley near Woodham Walter
Tuesday 20th September
So I've now finished my first 3 months. I'm a quarter of the way through this project and enjoying it immensely. Committing to publish the images on my blog and social media has kept me taking pictures every day and I've received some really generous feedback. On a personal level so much has happened over this time and Doff and I are still coming to terms with not having Jack with us; it'll take a while yet.
I found a different route through the Chelmer Valley today, running below the ridge route I normally use. Small, quiet, twisting lanes meandering through attractive hamlets and fields waiting to be ploughed after harvest.
The sun was noticeably lower this evening, with the shadows much longer now as we approach the Equinox. I am ready for Autumn, the fresh mornings and evenings, the landscape turning gold before the leaves fall, bracing walks on the sea wall and fires in our inglenook.
