Day 224
Chelmsford
Monday 30th January 2017
We had a lot of rain last night and the rivers and brooks were swollen this morning. Grey morning, with the clouds threatening more rain.
Buoyed by some of my pictures from Chelmsford last week, I went in search of more gritty black and white images. The multi storey car park is such a stark building as are parts of County Hall. Low light just seems to add to the character, with highlights lifting the oppressive uniform concrete greyness. Tonight, I was drawn to the bus station with it's strong , regular architectural forms seemingly existing in isolation to the human experience going on right under it's nose.
