Day 294
Chelmer Valley, near Langford
Monday 10th April 2017
Well what a difference a day makes, it was a full 10c cooler today, although still sunny this morning. The farmers really are getting to grips with the spring crops, fields are ploughed, with deep furrows picked out by the low morning sun.
On my way home I stopped in the Chelmer Valley next to a field protected by long strips of plastic. I have no idea what the crop is, but it is a concern at this amount of plastic being used; inevitably some of it will end up in hedgerows and trees; I hope it's biodegradable.
