Saturday 15th April 2017

So today this cold really hit me and it was a day of just taking it easy. I ended up watching Fantastic Beasts, which I enjoyed as a bit of escapism. This evening I dragged myself out to get my shot for the day. I realised that I've taken plant pictures for the last couple of days, so I really should go and find something different to photograph.

I knew the tide would be out and I'd found a picture last Saturday which I thought would work with the better light tonight. I drove down to the hard, walked out towards the lightship and felt the chill breeze run through my bones. Despite feeling so ropey, it was so good to be out by the water in the fresh air. I got my shot and my hunch about the light paid off.
