Day 309
Tollesbury Marina
Tuesday 25th April 2017
Today disappeared in a busy haze and before I knew it the sun was setting again. I wanted to get a better picture today after yesterday's near disaster and I really wanted to get down to the water but the tide was out. The Tollesbury marina berths are in a basin that retains it's water even when the tide is out, so I made a beeline for it. I tried several shots but this is the one I like the best. I love the mixed lighting, the symmetry, the simple composition which gives the eye no choice but to follow the board walk and of course the very shallow depth of field that add so much atmosphere to this picture.
