Day 84
St Michael's Mount lost in the mist across Mount's Bay
Monday 12th September
Rowdy seagulls this morning. They seem to be enjoying a damp start to the day. It didn't rain heavily but the cloud just descended and it drizzled for much of the morning. After a cooked breakfast, we headed in to Penzance for a while and then spent a lovely afternoon with friends who live at Nancledra. It was especially good to spend time with Jan and John this week.
We stopped for a quick look at the lido in Penzance which has undergone a huge renovation after being severely damaged by storms a couple of years ago. It's a great example of Art Deco architecture. We had a wander around the back streets of Mousehole in the evening, such an amazing little place with houses stacked on top of each other up the hillside, all looking down onto the little harbour. Very peaceful.
