Day 85
Ferry returning from St. Michael's Mount
Tuesday 13th September
Mixed bag weather wise today. Whilst Tollesbury was sweltering in the hottest September day since Dinosaurs roamed the earth, we had a lot of rain along with just enough sunshine for us to roast for a short time whilst eating a pasty for lunch looking out over St Michael's Mount.
We spent much of the day touring art galleries in Marazion and Mousehole. It's such an inspiration to experience work by artists using so many different mediums. Inevitably we spent far too much money but it is an indulgence that gives us pleasure and inspiration every day.
We headed back up to Nancledra for a lovely evening with Jan and John and some of their friends who are also visiting this week. We were treated to a spectacular thunder storm, causing several thankfully short power cuts.
