Day 88
Harbour steps at St. Michael's Mount
Friday 16th September
We walked from our cottage across the causeway to St Michael's mount this morning. The gardens are incredible, rising up the south facing hillside with exotic plants finding a home on the Cornish granite worked to form terraces. We visited some years ago and I was not expecting to be wow'd a second time but the gardeners of the National Trust have improved it greatly.
In the afternoon we drove across to Helford and sat in a pub overlooking the river, drinking tea; very relaxing.
Dinner with Jan & John at Zennor this evening; so good to spend time with them and I can't believe it's gone so quickly.
